This Analysis is performed as CAPSTONE PROJECT for MPS in GEODESIGN at PENN STATE WORLD CAMPUS.

The project is located in the city of Colima, Mexico. The site corresponds to the former location of the XX Military Zone Army compund (XXZM) which moved to a new site in 2018. The site was transferred to the property of the State of Colima Government that same year. Since that moment, the state authorities set up a Citizens Commission that was handed the responsability to determine the best future use for the 15Has site.

This analysis is intended to help the Commission in itds task and demonstrate that GEODESING METHODOLOGY supported by GIS technology may be a very useful tool and contribute in real-time scenario evaluation and smart decision making in close collaboration with multidisciplinary stakeholder groups and the local residents.
